Socapalm’s future is closely linked to the sustainable and integrated development of its communities.
The company makes no mistake about this. It involves a large number of local contractors in its plantation activities, and works closely with them throughout the production process.
Since its privatization, Socapalm has pursued an investment policy that not only fosters the economic development of these rural regions, but also the creation of community infrastructure for the local population. As such, it improves access to education, water, roads connecting neighboring villages and national roads, and to a certain extent, health care.
