In fact, the Company makes no mistake about it. It associates a large number of young entrepreneurs to its plantation activities, and works in close collaboration with them throughout the production process.

Since its privatization, Socapalm has implemented an investment policy centered on the economic development of these remote regions, but also on the creation of communal infrastructure for the population. It facilitates the population’s access to education, water and roads connecting the surrounding villages and national highways, to some extent to health care.
